Layer: NACCS Tropical Storm Peak Water Levels (meters) (ID: 0)

Name: NACCS Tropical Storm Peak Water Levels (meters)

Display Field: StationId

Type: Feature Layer

Geometry Type: esriGeometryPoint

Description: This dataset displays maximum-predicted water levels from over 1,000 simulations of synthetic tropical storms at save points (~19,000) along the coast. As part of the NACCS, storm surge and wave model results were computed for a set of 1150 combined tropical and extratropical storm events using the coupled ADCIRC/STWAVE models. In this dataset, the model results were interrogated to find the peak (or maximum) water level and wave height for all events at each point. When loaded, the service displays the peak water level in meters from all synthetic tropical storms simulations (1,050 events). The dataset also includes peak water levels from extratropical events (100), peak significant wave heights (from both tropical and extratropical events), and identifies the storm associated with peak events at each point.
