Description: This dataset displays the annual recurrence interval (ARI) statistics for significant at save points (~19,000) along the coast. At each point, storm surge and wave heights were computed for a set of 1150 combined tropical and extratropical storm events using the coupled ADCIRC/STWAVE models. Extremal analysis techniques were then applied to develop wave height return periods at each point. The service displays the (mean) 100-year significant wave height at each point in meters. The dataset also includes mean wave heights at 1-year through 10,0000-year return periods, and plots of significant wave height-ARI relationship at each point (mean and 95% confidence limits).
